CD Power Boat "LEAKS"

Has anyone experienced fresh water leaks that form around the Port side of the engine room under the water tank? I know it's not from the water tank, but that's all I know. I am thinking that after a hard rain it may be coming in around the aft seam between the house and the deck???? Until this season we had kept her in a shed, so we are just experiencing "rain". Any help. Thanks in advance.

Check the overflow line for the water tank at the fitting on top of the tank

I have a CD 30 powerboat, and the water tank is in the lazarette. But I also get fresh water on the port side of the engine room after heavy rain. Guess I ought to chase it down one of these days ...

Let us know if you track down the cause.

I just purchased a 1991 28' FB that had leaks around the windshields that were easilr repaired. The main leaks were around the four opening ports and were repaired by removing the outer trim, removing the old, dried up caulking, recaulking, and replacing the trim rings. Three or four hours work but now I have a "dry" boat.

Hope this helps.
