Bent bronze outboard bracket

I have a heavy Nissan 4 cycle, for insurance. Perhaps, too heavy.
Bracket seems to have bent slightly. Should I worry?

if this is on a typhoon it might be good - will get the prop deeper in the water! but on the other hand, better check the bracket for cracks but don't try to straighten. at the very least put a line or chain from the motor to the boat in case the bracket breaks and dumps the outboard. on the other hand maybe dumping the outboard is a good idea!
