My engine throws oil

I have a CD 28FB(1985)with a Volvo 160 diesel. It runs like a top but particularly at rpms at and above 2300 it throws a lttle oil behind the filler cap all along the top of the engine. Not much, maybe a few tablespoons. Anyone ever experienced same? Any ideas on what to do? Many thanks.

Have you changed the oil breather filter in front of the air filter.
It is the little rounnd cannister. I had that problem and when I changed the filter no more problem! Good Luck!
