After reading Don Casey's book, "This Old Boat" I've decided to try to fabricate a whole new forward hatch for Sovereign, my CD-25. I've got a big piece of grey Lexan, and will be making a heating fixture to bend it. The band saw and drill press are eager to go. Does anyone have experience in fabricating with Lexan or in rebuilding the hatch on a 25? What sealant/adhesive can I use to close up the corners? Any and all advice is most appreciated.

PS. Thanks to all for the advice on the deck pipe. Sovereign now has a cast stainless one, and it looks great!
