New to Cape Dory boats (just bought my first CD22!), where do I find the hull # for this particular boat? There is a small Cape Dory emblem with #73 stamped at the top;would that be it?

Congradulations Pat,
Cape Dory usually has a small bronze oval emblem with "Cape Dory Yachts", "E. Taunton, MA" and the "#___". for the hull number. The hull number will also be part of the "ID Number" which appears on the upper right side on the stern of the boat. Part of the "ID Number" will have the last two digits of the model year such as "85" for 1985 etc. For my boat, the hull number is before the model year numbers.
There are a number of "hidden" locations throughout the boat which will also have the "ID" number for the boat which you will come across from time to time.
