I see why the yard wanted to avoid this. It was really difficult. But I got it. Took about 4-5 hrs. I think I put two tubes of 4200 under it about 7 yrs ago and the 1/2” bolts were so tight they wouldn’t budge
I got a hole saw bit larger than the bolt heads and bored around them so I’ll have to plug them and make new holes and with the multi tool and wedges and a saw blade from a garden tool
I finally got it.
I had 6” bolts holding the pedestal for the club boom but I think I can fill those holes and counter sink bolts on the underside of the bowsprit. It should be strong enough??? Also I will repair the chain hawse hole that I was to lazy to fix last time when I modified it for the windlass

They may have been right. Maybe it wasn’t necessary to remove the bowsprit

I see you did remove it. Had to be done. You can't know unless you pull it up and look under there.
