Anchor roller replacement for CD33

Post by Paul D. »

Hello all,

Once again I have burned through another anchor roller - just the polyurethane rubber roller 3" x3" with a 1/2" pin in the Spartan Stem head anchor fitting. Current Spartan rollers have a solid bronze roller in their kits but not the roller separately, which I bet I could call Spartan to see how much they would charge me for one. However, I bet it would be pricey and I like the idea of a rubber roller.

Does anyone have a good brand they can recommend? Thanks in advance.

I replaced mine several years ago from the original gray “plastic” one to a polyurethane roller I picked up at West Marine. They had a big selection of sizes intended as replacements for the rollers on boat trailers. It’s still in fine shape and has held up remarkably well to my chain rode. It’s quiet also which is a plus.
