Cape Dory SOA National Zoom Event
Thursday 3/21 @ 7:00 p.m. EST
Cape Dory SOA will host a national Zoom meeting Thursday 3/21 @ 7:00 p.m. EST
Members only:
All current active members will receive a Zoom invite by email in the first weeks of March 2024.
Remember, just because you are registered here on the public Cape Dory Board, you are not automatically a member of CDSOA.
Consider becoming a CDSOA member, here: https://capedorysoa.org/content.aspx?pa ... _id=432709
We will be discussing and voting on a number of topics. Voting will proceed in the week following the Zoom event, online (our web page can host virtual voting). The meeting will be recorded so members not able to attend live can review the proceedings later. Voting results will be tallied and published in the first weeks of April 2024.
We have issues vital to the welfare of CDSOA.
· The adoption of new bylaws.
· The election of a new leadership team.
· A review of our finances.
A copy of the proposed revised bylaws can be reviewed here:

If the new by-laws are likely to be adopted by hand count during the event, then voting on a revised leadership team will be undertaken. As envisioned in the new bylaws we will be electing a Commodore, a Secretary Treasurer, an Information Officer, and one Director at Large.
If you aspire to be considered for any of these positions, or just discuss the obligation, please contact Commodore Fred Mueller. capedorysoa@gmail.com
Under the current bylaws the CDSOA board of directors will review and identify possible candidates. This will happen in the coming weeks via email by the Board. If you throw your ring into the hat, the Board will consider your candidacy, with great appreciation for stepping up.
The slate of candidates will be appended to this message on Monday March 12th.
