Calling All Cape Dory 28 Open Sportsman Owners

I am trying to contact other owners of CD Open 28's to share information about this wonderful design and to possibly publish a newsletter now and then.
If you are interested, please email me and I will see what I can put together. The postage won't be a big deal since I can't imagine there are more than 20 to 30 of these boats out there....probably because not many people are crazy enough to purchase a boat with no roof.

I'm not exactly sure on what the best way to get ventilation into the steering deck would be. One idea might be to place low profile air intake cowlings on the cockpit walls on both port and starboard sides, just to the sides of the helmseats, with some form of sliding panel that could close the air flow when you do not need it, and a scupper to collect and drain away any seawater that might enter while underway. The other alternative might be to have a woodwright re-build you starboard window to become an operating one - this is how my boat is set up and it works very well on a hot day.
Send me some info on how I can contact you if I were to send out a newsletter.
