CD 25 jib choice

Post by eric »

HI,

Allia is in the water and I have a choice as to what jib to use on the roller fuller. Last year I used the 140. This year I have put on a 170! jenny, which seems like a lot but it is a new said so I thought I'd try it out. I also have two 110s. Any advise (the 140 is the oldest, btw)

Eric, a 170 ? wow, will you be able to see anything ? We sailed A CD25 for three years with a 135 on a furler and did pretty well in most conditions, occasionally it could be more than enough.Would like to hear how it handles.

Weatherhelm?

Post by Bruce Bradford »

I'd like to know how well this handles. The weatherhelm on my 135% makes me quick to reef, and for this reason I've been considering switching to 100%.

If your CD25 can really carry it, maybe I need to make more adjustments!
