Had a memorable sail yesterday.
Strong winds (15 to 25 knots) made for a sometimes-reefed sail across Long Island Sound
from Southport CT to Northport NY.
About 3 hours to get over to NY and into Huntington Bay.
And about 2 and 1/2 hours on the return running with the wind and at times exceeding 7 knots speed over ground.
Spotted this fine Cape Dory 25 as I was leaving Huntington Bay.

Re: I Spy - Long Island Sound
It's nice to see someone else picking up the "I Spy" motif in other parts of the country. Too bad the Registry of Boats doesn't list a CD25 with hull number 411, but maybe the owner will chime in.
Smooth Sailing,
Jim
