DESCRIPTION -
1986 Cape Dory 32, Realization. Sleeps 6 for a weekend, but realistically sleeps up to 4. She is perfect for a cruising couple. Good ventilation with 8 opening ports with screens, 2 large hatches, 1 cowl vent on a dorade box over the head and 1 solar powered vent. There is a fan in the galley area and two fans in the forepeak. There are two cowl vents for the engine compartment. In addition to the hatch drop-boards there is a screen for the companionway. The u-shaped galley includes a gimballed 2-burner propane stove with oven, deep double sink and ice box with additional insulation. The drop-down folding table in the main salon comfortably seats 4 but can accommodate 6. All of the interior berth cushions are original to the boat. Two inches of high density memory foam has been added to the v-berth cushions which makes them much more comfortable for sleeping. The interior wood is varnished throughout, exterior wood is oiled. There’s a teak helm seat and a full set of cockpit cushions. This boat has lots of storage space for food, gear, tools and supplies for extended cruising. A project repairing deck and coach roof gelcoat cracks has been partially completed.
