Looking to set up my jiffy reefing rig on my Ty this spring, and would like to install a hook at the tack of the boom. I had this nifty hook on my old o'day daysailer, any reason to think it wouldn't also work on the typhoon?

That looks like the same one Rig-Rite supplied when I converted from roller to slab reefing

I'd also love to add something like that to my boom, rather than my multi-year "temporary" solution of lashing down the tack. Please update us when/if you install this on how you go about installing it!
