He asked me to post a message about the CD 30

We bought a CD300MS, 1987 model, in Oct 95. We looked for it due to seeing a sistership that survived Hurricane Fran in good shape. They range in price from mid $50's to low $60's. We brought ours down the length of the Chesapeake and ICW to Wilmington, NC. Very confortable and safe.

This broker is located at York River Yacht Haven on the Southern
Chesapeake Bay. Used to be large Cape Dory Dealership. Knowledgable
folks. Can not tell you why this price is low. Boat looks great.

Price depends on what year made. Avg could be about $50-60,000.
They made about 46-47 of them. One is currently for sale in Charleston, SC (see Soundings Nov issue) and one is for sale at Harbour Village Marina, Hampstead, NC
They are great waterway boats, only 4' draft, but roomy inside for two people to travel comfortably.
All Cape Dorys have excellent reps, the MS is no exception. Just looks a little different than the usual sloop rigged sailboat.
