Just purchsed a Cape Dory 27 which came with Edson wheel steering. Haven't sailed the boat yet. Does anyone have experience with this steering system? Any problems to watch for?

We,ve owned our 1981 CD27 for a little over two years and have had no problems with the Edson wheel other then getting around it when moving about the boat. Happy Sailing
