I have a '78 CD 27 (2 years) after sailing a Typhoon for 18 years. We
keep the boat in Huntington, NY and sail Long Island Sound. Awesome boat!
Feel free to contact me. - Bob M.

Chuck:

We just purchased a 1977 CD27, hull no. 37. "Remedy" is in Boston harbor. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have, but why not post your questions on this site? Others will have more/better answers.

Chuck,
I just became an owner. I'll sail my boat on the south shore of Long Island, NY which means, initially, the Great South Bay. Be glad to comment on any questions or concerns.

We have enjoyed sailing our CD27 on Guntersville Lake in Al for over two years now and beleive it to be just the right boat for us. It seems to be a solid safe boat and one that we can enjoy spending a weekend on. The only negative points are spider cracks in the gelcoat which are somewhat typical with CD's and the 8 H.P. Yanmar will not cause us to break any speed records. Post any specific questions and you will be sure to get answeres.
