1986 Cape Dory 330 Cutter

Located in South Dartmouth, MA. Still in the water (as of 9/5/18. Owned and sailed this wonderful boat primarily in Buzzard’s Bay, Vineyard and Rhode Island Sounds since 1998. Boat has been well-maintained and serviced by the Concordia Company since 2001.

GRATEFUL has been a great joy and has given us wonderful sails and experiences with family and friends. The boat comes with the high-standard accruements and design that one would expect of this most desirable cutter. The roller-furling main has made the boat safer, more efficient and easier to sail with all lines handled from the cockpit and infinite reefing positions. Because we could change the sail area with little effort, over time we learned that the boat handled better, was more comfortable and equally fast with less sail out, even in modest strength winds. And, the Universal 30 diesel has been very, very reliable and efficient to operate. We burn—at the most—40 gallons of diesel per season.

For a cruising couple that loves interesting ports and anchorages—and great food—this boat fills the bill with a spacious salon, three burner stove and oven, and ample ice box and storage spaces. By the way, this combination works well also for longer distance voyages.

The deck surfaces are showing signs of wear with surface cracks in the gel coat (but have been there for all the years we have owned Grateful!).
