are there any suggestions on how to best support cabin top sag under the mast step of the CD Typhoon...really need help
also the guy helping to rebuild my boat cut out the frozen open stop cocks and does not like the way the drains are designed cutting sharp angles from cockpit to thru hull...any suggestions?
this boat was not taken care of so a lot of deck cracks...and in cockpit...do I sand down and epoxy and awl grip...want to launch soon...painting her, re did bottom, and all the wood and rebedding fittings...yikes...was not to be a project boat to start with and needs a lot of tlc
best suggestions for compass...a board mount?
sailing with a motor attached...isn't that too heavy on the transom?

Sailors with a lot more experience, knowledge and skill than I possess will soon weigh in but on the topic of the "cabin top sag" I think most sailors have added a compression post.

Do you have the original bronze outboard mount? If so, sailing with a light engine is no problem. I had British Seagulls on both of my Typhoons and weight was not an issue. Just don't get HP hungry... it doesn't take much to reach hull speed on a Ty with the proper prop.
