Praise for Percision Sails

Post by mgphl52 »

As I posted late last year, I finally pulled the trigger to order new sails for KAYLA from Precision Sails. Due to my own mistake, the main came with slides only 5/8" wide instead of 3/4". When raising or lowering, multiple slides would pop out of the gate

This was all my fault for not properly measuring. When I contacted Precision for recommendations for a nearby loft to correct the problem, they have instead asked me to return the sail and have begun making a "NEW" main with the correct slides! They also sent me a waybill for shipping the main back to them. As David said, "This happens sometimes and it is easier for them to build a new sail with the correct slides than redo the original." They also want to be sure that "I" am happy with my sails!!!

In my book, this is incredible customer service! Especially since at my age, I'll probably never need another set of sails for KAYLA.

If anyone is looking for new sails I highly recommend Precision Sails.

PS: Just got back from a sail with just the head sail and it performs great!
