Anyone sailing a CD Typhoon in Long Island-NY?

Post by Louish »

I have been reading a lot on the CD Typhoon and thinking that would be a a great first boat to buy for my daysailing on the Sound. However I would love to have a hand on one and experience how she sails before deciding. So I would appreciate if someone in the area would be willing to take me out on his Ty for a short sail. I am on the north shore of LI but could drive to the south as well.

Please PM me if you can.

Thank you.

Louish,

I was born and raised on the north shore of Long Island. Where are you located? I'm up on a great lake now.

I'm thinking of selling my two Tys and trailers shortly. Somebody's going to get a good deal.

Take care,

O J

John, I am in the Port. Washington / Glen Cove area. I am looking for an opportunity to sail one in the area if you know anyone.
Thank you.
