Transporting a 27

Post by Mibrinn »

HELP HELP!!!!I am in the middle of buying a 27
and have received some advise that needs to be confirmed...I have been told that when trailering the boat the Engine needs to be supported from under the beds so not to damage them..i.e. to take the wt of the beds off..
also have been told not to put mast on the pulpit as it will be it during transport.

Does anyone know if the rudder needs to be stored down below as not to damge its support?

I moved a CD25D from Florida to Texas without any supports under the engine. I used enough pads on the cabin top, so the pulpit only held the mast in place. Good luck!
