Fred; S/V Sunshine; Fenixrises

Post by Sea Hunt Video »

I was watching a sailing video the other day and was reminded of our friend Fred Bickum, S/V Sunshine, FenixRises, etc. He has not posted since September 2015. Has anyone heard from him :?: His last post from the S/V Sunshine website was in January 2014. http://www.sbastro.com/SunShine/Introduction.html

Thanks Sandy.

Being Italian I am thinking that first mate Loida had a significant influence on Fred's decision to settle down, sell S/V Sunshine, and establish roots, possibly in the Philippines (Loida is from the Visaya region I think).

I am hopeful that someday Fred resumes posting on this board. His posts were ALWAYS informational and very helpful - even to a rookie like me. I miss his posts.
