Hey CRers,
As many of you have the older engines with the barely adequate 2" heat exchangers, you may wish to avail yourselves of a bargain for upgrading to a 3" unit. We installed this unit in our old engine in June, 2015 and our overheating problems instantly vanished.
As we're repowering with a new Beta Marine engine, we now have this nearly new HX for sale. It is a model 299835CN, 3" copper with nickel plating, complete with mounting brackets. It was installed in June of 2015 and used for only 90 engine hours. New price, not including shipping and tax was $325, and we're offering it for $220.
It will be available for shipping when we return to the boat from our Canadian home in January. Let us know if you want it and we'll ship it as soon as we return. If you'd like photos, remind us in January (if it hasn't sold by then).
