1977 CD27 for sale
For Sale: CD 27 sloop (1977; hull #47). After 14 years of happy sailing, retirement and relocation make it necessary to find a new home for “Abigail.” She has been sailed almost weekly during each summer and fall, and has been well maintained. Original bronze fittings are all in place. YSB8 engine reliably starts on the third beat. SS shaft with original bronze prop. PSS dripless shaft seal, replaced in 2014. Factory-original (I think) bowsprit holds #22 Delta anchor. Rule auto bilge pump. Manual head w. holding tank. Origo non-pressure alcohol stove. UK full-batten mainsail with lazy jacks; UK “Passage Maker” 150% genoa on Harken roller-fuller. White hull with blue non-skid. Custom fitted closed-cell foam cockpit cushions. Original gel-coat topsides (no Awlgrip, etc.). Gel-coat below waterline was renewed in 2010. Force 10 propane rail grill. Can be seen at Harlem Yacht Club on City Island, New York. Photos available by request pm. Asking $6000.

She sounds wonderful. We have a 1980 CD27. She does not have a bowsprit. I would love to see a photo of that.
