Autopilot Woes

Post by Paul D. »

You know it's a bad day when you even have to take apart the multimeter with which you're trying to fix your autopilot. Special thanks to Bob at Benmar who has the patience of a saint. That's the rotary drive on the left, which works fine. Something is amiss in the compass and maybe the control unit too.

I know, I know it is 30+ years old but it is such a good one. I never did get it right this season. Needed more time within cell range with Saint Bob. One more try next season though with plenty of scheming throughout the winter should do it. At least we got Femme all caught up with her brightwork. Well almost.
