John Churchill--1999 CDSOA Navigator's Award Recipient

At the annual CDSOA Groundhog Day Extravagnza, John Churchill, known to regulars of this site for single handing Skua(CD26), to Bermuda, was presented the Navigator's Award. This award has only been presented three times. Previous winners Bud Mencheny & Spicer Bell competed successfully (a first & a second) in the West Marine Bermuda event in their CD36s (different years). Congratulations are clearly in order! A tip of the ensign to "Swimmin' John."
