This was her first time back in the water after about 10 years of neglect on the hard.
My previous post has some pics that show just how badly she needed attention.
The triad trailer worked a dream. Launch and retrieval took us 2 hours each time, mast raising included. I am sure we can get faster at launching/retrieving with a little practice. Some of the lower t bolts in the turnbuckles were already bent when I went to put the mast up. Some of them are now bent even worse :/ But they can be replaced. Any tips on how NOT to bend those t bolts when raising the mast would be great!
We would have gotten out sooner, but the outboard has been sitting for so long that the needle float valve had gummed up, and the carb was pouring gas out of its overflow. Simply dropping the bowl and manipulating the float valve was all it needed. After putting it back together, the 5hp honda purred.
E winds 5-10, mostly overcast. It was a lovely day for a re-intro to sailing. Can't wait to go out again.
Here is a short gif of how nicely she goes
Thanks for looking.
Fair winds,
Steve

She goes very nicely. Even without the Jib. Well done.
Be careful of those T-bolts. Bent bolts lose a lot of their strength, especially if the have been bent more than once.

Looks like fun. The T-Bolts I'd say loosen your side stays jam nuts or pins as you put the mast up they should turn. Take it slow you might have to back down once or twice to get things straight.
Sincerely,
Chris B.
