This is not my boat but I think it's an innovative installation. It mounts temporarily with fender washers and wing nuts to a companionway step. It's ergonomically placed at chest height which would make sustained use relatively painless. I would have mounted it favoring one side or the other to still allow use of the ladder.
I know it's not near as efficient as the board mounted Edson 30gph pump but I still think it's a neat, efficient, and costworhty alternative for the average cruiser.
