I have hull #35 from 1977. My non-skid areas are light blue and show no signs having been replaced!

So what does your head stay look like? My ends in a large "aircraft eye".

I have a CD-27 hull #65,the decks were powder blue when purchased,I repainted them tan.The non skid areas which were blue were in need of painting anyway.I am very pleased with the results.
The powder blue was the original color.

The non-skid of my '77 CD 25 is light blue and my previous '77 Typhoon had the same. Hope this helps. JWC

Mine connect's directly to the bow headstay fitting with pin and ring,
not a eye bolt.

I have a '78, #93 and mine is tan non-skid on a white hull. But the rest of the boat color scheme is blue (bottom paint, sail cover, etc.)
I don't know when Cape Dory went to the brown and tan mode.
