Sadly we are offering our cape dory 25d for sale. We have just completed a one year cruise down the US east coast and Bahamas. The boat underwent a major refit in summer 2014 including deck recoring/painting, engine/drivetrain overhaul, bright work, standing rigging, barrier coating, and electrical work to update her for cruising. The 25d is a very capable boat that kept us safe and never disappointed. The yanmar 1GM is a little underpowered but it's a workhorse that just keeps running. We have now outgrown her and are looking to purchase a larger boat so all offers will be considered. We are currently bringing her back up the coast from FLorida to Delaware where she will be all summer if anyone is interested we can deliver anywhere in East Coast. I'm sure I've missed something so feel free to ask any questions

Today I finally finished taking some pictures and getting them uploaded, we've also decided to drop the price as we would like to sell ASAP so open to any reasonable offer. The boat is ready to sail now, fresh bottom paint, varnish, hull buff/wax. Conveniently located on the hard in Lewes, DE close to Chesapeake bay.

Big Congrats. Not only did you obviously care for it very well over the years, but your photography was stellar! Others attempting to sell their S/Vs should take a lesson from this thread! WOW Beautiful photos of an obviously terrific Cape Dory!
