GE to everyone on the board.
Below you'll find a couple of pics of the two solar panels mounted on Rhapsody's stearn. The wiring is not yet stowed properly, but its in.
I'm not using much battery power as present (97.5 % State of Charge), but it only takesan hour or so for the panels to top them off. I'm thinking I'm gonna love me some solar panels!

Re: Rhapsody's Solar Panels
Nice photo, Bill. Great install!
When we bought our 31 in 2013, it came with a large, older and heavier 160 W panel mounted on the stern davits. It contributed to a trim issue we have (she squats a bit) but gees, we never even think of the batteries. It even seems to work somewhat under the winter shrink wrap - at least enough to keep our 3 AGMs topped up through the cool Nova Scotian winters.
I saw a piece in the NY Times last week about a new generation of solar panels. They're so thin and translucent that they can be mounted on window glass. The future of solar in boating appears very bright (at least on the clear days, anyway)..
Thanks for sharing the photo. Spring outfitting is just around the corner.
Have a great '15 sailing season!
