Annapolis Boat Show

Post by Jeff and Sarah »

Sarah and I thought it would be fun to host a happy hour for CD-owner Annapolis Boat Show attendees. Depending on the weather we might even be able to get out for an evening sail. We were thinking Saturday, October 11th. We live about 5 minutes from downtown (without boat show traffic). If anyone is planning to be in town and interested in a CD casual event post below.

I live in Annapolis and will be covering the US Sailboat Show for Bay Weekly newspaper. I just launched my newly acquired Cape Dory Typhoon Weekender, which I keep at my summer house in Maine. I would love to meet other Cape Dory sailors in the Annapolis area, so yes, count me in for your social event on Sat. Oct. 11. There is also a reception at the National Sailing Hall of Fame that evening on a restored Skipjack.

Lavida is downbound on the Hudson today, heading for the show.
Any idea of a back water dock near the show we could pull into?
Will try to make the 11th!
Thanks,
Rit
