FOR SALE Raymarine RL70RC Plus chartplotter/radar display -- $250

The following links provide some info about the RL70RC Plus:

There are a few for sale on eBay too if anybody's interested: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_kw=Raym ... artplotter

This unit was new in 2004 and cost about $2000 at that time. The Raymarine RL70RC Plus has a monochrome display and can display both chart data as well as radar data if hooked up to a Pathfinder radar scanner (not longer available from Raymarine). It interfaces with SeaTalk, receives and transmits via 2 NMEA 0183 input ports and 1 NMEA 0183 output port.

Neither the RL70RC Plus nor the Pathfinder scanner are still available from Raymarine and you can no longer purchase the radar interunit cable. But if you need to replace your current display or want to add a display, this is an opportunity to do that.

There is a slight flaw in the screen but it doesn't interfere with the information displayed. Other than that, it is in good condition.

Our 18" Pathfinder radar scanner, which was on the mast which was lying on its side and stored in the mast shed at the boat yard, was submerged during super storm Sandy. We don't know if it still works or not but we didn't want to take any chances with it so we replaced our entire system, along with everything else that was attached to or inside the mast, which is why the RL70RC Plus was removed from our boat.

Send me note by clicking on the "email" button below if you're interested in the display.

Thanks,
Cathy
