Looking to sail and buy a Typhoon Weekender

Post by Flip1228 »

Good day,

I've got lots of experience owning and sailing 25 - 40 boats, but haven't sailed anything the size of a Weekender for 35 years.

I'd like to learn to rig and sail one before I buy. So, if anyone within 2 hours of Annapolis needs an extra hand (on M,W, F, Sat or Sun) just call or write.

Curious to see your post unanswered. Did you make contact with someone? You might want to visit the group of Typhoon sailors and boats meeting at the Rappahannock Yacht Club this coming weekend. Lots of Tys........could be some interested to sell? Never know. Plenty of stories and information and boats. See their website: http://www.rryc.org/sailing/typhoon-nationals/
