whether it is nobler............. silly me :>}

Seriously now, every body help. I've stripped the 15yrs of Varnish off much of "Aimless" and discovered some water stains under a spot or two along the inside of the toe rail. It was recommended that I use Snappy Teak to "un-spot" the wood. Having never taken this approach before I wonder, should I sand to the required 220 first, or brighten, then sand???

ps- I am using that new finish called "Bristol Finish" by C-Tech. It is a product developed by some ex-employees of the company that makes HONEY TEAK. So far (I am slow) I have gotten 2 coats on the bowspirit and I am pleased with the results. Now that I have found my daughters "Barbie-Cam" digital camera, I'll take some fotos. With Walt's help I'll get them posted for you all to see..........
