New Yankee

Post by nosara »

I'm planning to add high cut Yankee to our 30 cutter. She currently has a furler. Does anyone have a similar setup with dimensions available?
Thanks

From Sailrite's database, before they hid it...

140% High Clew Genoa
Luff 35.0'
Foot 21.83'
Leech 30.0'
Length Perp 18.59'
Deck Angle 10.9 Degrees
Area 325.25 Sq Ft.

I use my Yankee in the fall, when the winds start getting over 15 kts. Much better than the 150 Genoa reefed.

There are a number of jib sails available to go along with the staysail; from storm, working to genoa.
See above for most dimensions.
