Lazy Susan

I’m missing something from the galley lazy susan on my 1981 Cape Dory 36. I took it out to get more storage area when I went cruising into the South Pacific. I’m trying to put it back together now and the center pivot pole is short about an inch or less. There must be a piece that fits at the top of the center pivot pole between the pole and the upper pivot pin. There is a screw through the top of the pivot pole that probably tightens up on the missing piece.
Would someone please take a picture or describe what I need?
