1982 CD 25 for sale ($5500) - Jacksonville FL

Post by DHW2013 »

1982 CD 25 in good condition.

No blisters, no soft spots, & good rigging. The boat has a new (2014) 9.8 HP Tohatsu with electric start/alternator, back-up pull start, controls in cockpit, fresh water flushing system, & three fuel tanks. The engine was professionally installed and is fully warranted and transferrable. 120 furling headsail w/ sunshade in good condition and mainsail with new Sunbrella cover in good/usable condition. Hull was Awlgripped in 2006; bottom painted in January (2014) with two coats Interlux Micron. Six opening bronze ports, swim ladder, VHF, ground tackle, dock pole, lines, safety gear, etc. She comes with a bimini frame (no canvas), 1" brass rubrails that go over teak toerails, cockpit cushions. She needs: rewiring (DC system works but is in need of updating), new interior cushions, and brightwork refinishing.

I recently bought the boat for daysailing and for 'fixing up.' But with small children I do not have the time for sailing her or for the projects she needs to shine. I am not seeking to make any profit on the boat and will actually I will lose a good bit of money (engine alone was $3K).

I am happy to give more information to anyone interested and to send recent photos. Looking for a quick sale.

Located in Jacksonville, Florida.

Sounds like a nice boat but you should tell us where she is stored and post photos if possible. Also it would be better if you establish an email and private message through this website. Do not post your email address for all to see, rather look at other postings and see how interested folks can discuss more with you in a more one-on-one private message. If you have photos, send them to me via my PM link.

Good luck selling.
