Has anyone come up with a slick way to connect mast to interior wiring for deck stepped mast? I have vhf, wind, lights coming from mast to a hole in cabin top where wires (approximately 10+vhf)are connected with radio shack 10pin connector. Unfortunately, space is limited and wires must be contorted in all directions to get 5"teak cap back in place. Am looking for easier, more reliable hook up. Thanks.

Re: 25D mast/deck wiring
Frank; I am in the same boat..no pun intended..but I am looking at the setup on the Rhodes 22. It looks to be modularized so that wires can be plugged into VHF deck plug seperate from lights. On my CD25 (not D)Has anyone come up with a slick way to connect mast to interior wiring for deck stepped mast? I have plenty of space to set up a plug panel on deck. One other thing I am doing is leading all wiring out the side of the mast about 1" above the tabernacle in this manner I can avoid the annual crimping of the wiring under the shackle pins..god there is no clearance there. The Rhodes 22 page is on the net and it eludes me at the moment but I thought the engineering concept is simple common sense and very doable on any boat.
