Chartering a CD?

Post by Keith Boniface »

I am currently looking to move up to either the CD 27 and CD 28 and would like to have some time on board to "test-drive". Does anyone know of a place that charters the CD 27/28? I am living in the Boston area but would be willing to travel.

Thanks,
Keith

Not just CD sailboats for charter

Post by Catherine Monaghan »

Keith,

Since the CDs are all old models they aren't the easiest boats to charter, especially the smaller models. Most charter companies try to use somewhat new boats and they're usually at least 30-footers.

Anyway, here are some charter companies that actually have Cape Dories for charter.

Thanks for the details! Hopefully I'll be here as a CD owner soon, not just a CD wannabee...
