With regret, we are now offering our beloved CD 30 cutter "Concinnity" to a new owner. Since you are on this site, you already know that a Cape Dory of any size is the boat to own. The only question is which size (we've had two), and which one. If you are looking for 30' cutter, I imagine you'll not find many as nice as Concinnity which has been kept in outstanding condition by professionals at all times (our instructions to them are simple: "Do whatever it takes to keep her in top shape"). She's a relatively late boat (1985) and so enjoyed all the refinements that CD continually introduced throughout the years they were being built (1976-1986).
Rather than regale you here with all the particulars about Concinnity, I suggest that you click over to the Robinhood Marina website. They have cared for her over the years and now have her listed in their brokerage. http://www.robinhoodmarinecenter.com/ma ... brokerage/ They have several CD 30s listed; Concinnity is the 1985 boat priced at $34,500. The only item of note not yet included in their listing is the addition of roller furling to the staysail (being done as this is written 7/30/13), which means that one never has to go forward of the mast except to affix a mooring line.
Concinnity is a classic, lovely, supremely well-built sailboat that will take you anywhere, including heaven on a sparkling afternoon. Do check her out. We'd love for you to enjoy the same delight we have experienced aboard her and will profoundly miss now that we must relinquish her.
