We recently returned from Cuttyhunk on one of our first
trips in a recently acquired CD25, rigged as a cutter with
one of two foresails out on the bowsprit. As we beat
into the wind we were only able to get within 50 degrees
of the wind. I am wondering if this is our inexperiece in the
boat (likely) or if it is close to spec for the CD25.
Any advice as regards expectations, or tips to get
closer would be appreciated.
