Don't forget to snap some photos while you work on that boat project, then share them here.

Well here are two pics of the rough fit.

This shot is looking down through the access "hatch" outboard of the stove.

This on is looking outboard through the stove cutout.

After a good scrubbing with TSP, new paint and installing a new battery shelf I hope two golf cart batteries will be going here!

It is amazing what bits of space can be found and how they can be utilized.

I moved Raven's batteries as far forward as possible while still keeping them in the cockpit locker. At one point I had the start battery tucked in behind the motor. I moved it back out when I figured out I could stuff a 4 Gal hot water heater under there. The point is that the closer to the center and as low as you can possibly put the heavy things the better.

How will you access the area once you put everything back together? Do you keep all your other stowage as well?

I never had any idea that parts of the interior were cored or so it looks like at the stove cut out.

You might want to look at the battery post fuses while you are redoing things. Mainsail had talked about them at one point and they are very nice. Bolt them right to the battery terminal and connect the wire to the fuse. Very compact and everything is protected, Steve.
