NE Fleet Cabin Fever Lunch

Post by Neil Gordon »

I just got the email announcement... Cabin Fever is February 16th, at Newick's in Dover, NH. The countdown to Spring continues!!!

(It's not that far... It's almost January, February is short and two weeks or so after that, I cut the cover off.)

Don't forget.....
..... that you'll find the details of events like this on our "Fleet Events" page. So if you haven't been there, visit that page and look in the "Northeast Fleet" section where you'll not only find a link to the details but a link to the online registration form as well.

You'll also find the announcement for this event here (you're looking at that message thread now) and in the "CDSOA" discussion area in the "Land-based Activities" forum.

I'm stuffed!

Becky and I had a great time this afternoon with members of the Northeast Fleet @ Newicks in Dover, NH.

Dave Bradbury continues to sponsor a wonderful winter tradition with good food, good friends, and good conversation! What fun for those of us who live in the Northeast!

We heard a few words from Joe Myerson, our fleet captain; from Dave Bradbury about last year's Mid-Coast Maine Cruise; and from Chris and Heather Bernabo about this year's DownEast Maine Cruise.

I look forward to this event every year, and I find it helps keep me in the sailing mood while I wait for spring commissioning.

Any pictures for those who were unable to attend? Names help a lot, if possible.

Sounds like a good time was had be all. Debbie and I attended the Chesapeake Fleet meeting today in Solomons MD. We miss seeing all of our friends in the NE Fleet however we are enjoying meeting new CDer's in the New Bern area.

Photos?

Good question. I don't specifically remember anyone taking any photographs. I was more interested in the conversation of old and new friends alike, and on devouring my seafood platter. Oh. Did I mention dessert?

No pictures. Parties are more fun when there's a promise up front of "no photos."

Now you tell me. If I knew that beforehand, I would have made a special effort to attend.

Brian and Debbie,
Several members asked how you were doing. I mentioned that we crossed paths in Solomons during the CDSOA Annual Meeting. Hope you're enjoying life below the Mason-Dixon Line. Best,
