CD 31 Inner forestay
Anyone know dimensions as originally designed. I'm contemplating going from hank on to roller furl and sailmaker needs dimensions to estimate cost. Rig is in storage and not currently accessible.

As long as the hurricane behaves I'll be able to measure my inner forestay next weekend. I'll post the dimensions for you here.

Re: CD 31 Inner forestay
I'll try to get an inner forestay measurement for you tomorrow by running a tape up the messenger line I replaced the staysail halyard with. Jim Walsh may have other matters to attend to in Noank. Hope he's okay!

Re: CD 31 Inner forestay
I got 31'-7" on Yankee from pad eye to mast attachment by hoisting a tape up the inner stay with a halyard. Not a precise measurement but good enough for a cost estimate. Jim.
Re: CD 31 Inner forestay
I measured 31' 3". This was with some gymnastics on the mast rack so Jim may be more accurate than me.

Re: CD 31 Inner forestay
Yankee's inner stay is 3/16", which is ample. But there might be variation from one boat to another....
