- Regarding registration and your e-mail address: The board's software protects it from spammers. So rather than displaying your e-mail address within a posted message, those that want to contact you have the option of clicking on either the 'email' or 'pm' buttons which appear below each posted message. If they choose the 'email' button they can send you a message via a form. If they choose the 'pm' button you'll get a 'private message' which you'll access via the message board or from a link you'll receive via e-mail. Either way they'll never see your e-mail address unless you send them a reply. Non-registered users cannot send you an 'email' or a 'pm' via the board. So in order to maintain this added security and your privacy, please never include your e-mail address within the text of a message or within your 'signature'.
