Cape Dory Video
Ladies and Gentlemen you might be highly interested in this video. Its 30 minutes in length, but well worth the effort. It will require a relatively high speed connection.

Great!
I always wondered what John Larroquette did before starring in "Night Court"
Loved the shots of the lead ballast being installed. Very cool video!
Edit- I changed my mind. I now think he looks like Rod Serling.
Jim.

Great Video
Great video to watch. Rod Serling was my first reaction as well - only the cigarette was missing.

Bill,
Thank you very much for posting this. Quite nostalgic and informative about our vessels. I wonder why they didn't show a Typhoon? (Of course, a Typhoon owner would ask this.) Really nice shots of the construction. Thanks again.

I noticed the person who uploaded it to youtube seems to own a CD26 and also actually made the video back in the day, do they post here? Speak up and take your due credit!
I also noticed in the description of the video it mentions "rare footage of Alberg", but I only saw one brief shot of him at a drawing table. Admitadly I was fast forwarding a bit to get past some of the marketing stuff to see more of the construction process footage, so I am wondering if I missed more of Alberg (I was hoping to hear him talk about the designs himself).
The construction footage was pretty cool to see, though I have to wonder where these hundreds of QA checks managed to miss the fact that my bowsprit was installed significantly off center at the factory.

@russell
I too noticed the "QA" mentions. However, it was a good video. The "producer" is Dana Morris or if you look on youtube its "mainhalyard".
