i have a cd 30 1977... sailed it from texas to florida.. i want to sell the boat but have no idea what i should put for a price... it's in rough shape but still a strong boat. any help would be appreciated

Here's an unabashed opinion of values. This is based on northeast prices, so adjust as you wish...
1981 and older-
Dead motor, bad sails, streaked and delaminated interior wood: $5K
Decent interior, oldish sails, mostly chugging MD7 engine: $12K
Good running MD7, sails < 6 years old: $18K
Repowered, good interior, solid canvas, newer sails, $32K
If you spent $5000 on accessories, electronics, and shiny things, add $1000 to price of boat.
This would be the sale price, not the asking price.
