That sir, is a gorgous boat. I had no idea early typhoons had the cockpit built like that, the teak bulkhead and seats look terrific. Given you call it an Alberg Typhoon, is this pre Cape Dory? Who built it? The teak seats certainly look origonal since there is no molded fiberglass under them, is the bulkhead origonal as well, or an addition?

Anyway, looks like you have something very special there, if I was in the market for a typhoon I would be all over this. Just asking questions for curiosities sake and out of admiration for your fine vessel.

Russell,
Thank you for the complements. She is a beauty, which makes this all that much more difficult.

The brochure calls it an Alberg Typhoon, build by Cape Dory.

Under the About Cape Dorys you will find that production began in 1967. Yes, all the mahogany in seats, bulkhead, etc. are the original design. I believe they changed over to a lot more fiberglass (bulkhead, lazarette's, etc.) in 1970.

Lots of interest & contact, with the price seeming reasonable for her condition and all her ammenities, but no contract yet. Again, call, e-mail, or pm if you're genuinely interested in her.
