We've purchased a '77 CD 25 which is now sitting in our back yard awaiting cosmetic work for next spring. I'd be interested if anyone has outfitted a 25 with a marine head instead of a porta potty. More questions to follow I'm sure.

Our '75 CD25 came with a marine head installed BUT it had a 4 gal recirculating holding tank. GROSS to the max. We tore this out last winter and fitted the largest holding tank possible. 14gal. We also fitted all the valving, intakes, thru hulls and anti-syphon valves to have a workable as well as legal system. Adding the actual head would not be much of a problem, however adding all the required plumbing took quite a bit of work due to the very tight working area involved. However the results have more than justified the work and we are very happy new system.
If you decide to go ahead I can share more specifics if you wish.

Jim:
Where did you place your large holding tank? Our through-hull head has a small tank secured behind and above the hopper, which we never use.
